You Never Lego

Jason Medlin from Lake Arlington Baptist Church in Arlington, TX brings us this Lego-inspired stage design.

From Jason: Our set was inspiried by the Brick Testament. www.bricktestament.com. Our Pastor was preaching through the book of Judges which is a heavy book with lots of adult themes. Over the summer we wanted to try to make the stories as friendly as possible. I found the Brick Testament and it had almost the entire book in legos. So we used this as a launching point. I built the legos out of sheets of foam board and cake rounds. www.lacrafts.com. Search styrofoam discs.

We also bought giant legos to give some definition. these will be donated to our preschool classes.

The table was made out of 1000 actual legos.

Legos are not cheap. The foam was around $200, discs were $300, giant legos were around $300 ($99 for each set)

I also did a stop motion video for our sermon bumper. I can show you that upon request.

Great set! What are the dimensions of the backdrops, and what size foam pieces/cake rounds did you use?
    Thanks!
