Through a Mountain

Scott Mocabee from Horizons Church in Stafford, VA brings us this papered mountain scene.

They created this set design for their series called “Mountaintop”.

The mountain was hung from the roof and was made of only crumpled craft paper. The cost of the craft paper for 48″x1200′ was only $68. They had to setup and teardown the set every week. They had a ton of paper left over, so they also created a cave in the entry way of the church just for fun.

The light boxes on the floor were made from air filters and duck tape. Total cost was $40.

The lighting on stage and in the light boxes they already owned.
