Donna Lewis from Seneca Community Church in Romulus, NY brings us this simple fabric design.
This design is simply polyester white cloth panels (four 5 feet wide by 10 feet to 13 feet high) on a thin cable held with 6 eye bolts.
To create it, draw the cloth holding each panel with a grape vine wreath, accented with silk flowers for the season. A single skewer is placed through each wreath. Weave the cloth (like a belt buckle) to hold wreaths in place.
The cost was $4 for 2 large wreaths and 2 small wreaths. The flowers were a few dollars at the local dollar store. The cloth panels and hardwire were about $60. They have used the cloth panels for about 2 years in a variety of different ways.
