Tommy Cash and Artis3 from Citymark Church in League City, TX brings us this fun Christmas stage design. (originally posted June 2014)
Their client wanted a winter wonderland theme. They achieved that concept using elements the church already owned, several trips to Hobby Lobby, and as much white fabric as they could find.
For the backdrops and overhead elements, they used a white shear fabric and white string Christmas Lights. They used dowel roads and binder clips to make the ends and then used zip ties to hang them. For the white staging, they used a white heavy felt from hobby lobby and stapled it to the floor. The church owned a ton of candles and centerpieces from previous weddings, so they incorporated those with some tree branches and used LED lighting over head to accent them.
The whole process took about 3 days using their team from ARTIS3 and a few volunteers from the church.
