Warmth and Chevrons

Austin Gregory from Longview First Assembly in Longview, Texas brings us this mixture of vintage warmth and modern chevron.

This stage design was done for their youth ministry, Generations Student Ministry. It combined elements they have seen on this website and uses color to pull it all together.

Materials:

  • Pallet Wood
  • 4 Metal Vertical Trusses
  • IKEA LED Strip
  • 4 Chauvet LED Lights
  • 2 Chauvet Round LED lights
  • 8 PVC Pipes

Budget:

Budget on this project was $0, ($300 new screen) all materials were donated or already available in storage.

Method:

They built a pallet wall section using a 2×4 support frame and randomly overstacking the wood. Then they added wood accents on front of the drums using extra stained 2x4s. PVC was then nailed to the wall in the Chevron formation. Light was shined from the standing truss horizontal. Their new screen was from Carl’s Place, and was build at the total cost of $300.
