Angela Lamb from 5 Point Church in Easley, SC brings us this wedding reception-like stage design.
For this design, they were going through a series on marriage, so they wanted the auditorium to have a wedding reception type feel. They have not been in their current building for long, so their stage wall was bare with black sound panels. To cover them and add depth, they looped and lit 40 yards of white satin purchased from Amazon.
Overhead throughout their 650-seat auditorium were 1000 feet of festoon lights, also purchased from Amazon. Directly over the stage were 92 paper lanterns of various sizes from Luna Bazaar. The lanterns were hung with fishing line and weighted with washers to reduce swing from their house HVAC system.
Lanterns and fabric were lit with Chauvet Colordash Batten Quad 12s. Festoon lighting was routed through a 4 channel DMX dimmer box.
