Strips & Split Projection

Kaleb Wilcox from Willow Creek Community Church in Northfield, IL brings us this cool use of projection and lighting positioning. (originally posted July 2015)

This was their Easter 2015 set. The set was based around 3 separate LED video walls, hung at various heights in a portrait orientation. The backdrop was comprised of 14 ChromaQ Colorforce 48 LED battens and 10 Colorado 1 Pars. Overhead were 6 Mac250s, 6 Robe 136LTs, 8 Elation Design Wash 250s, and 2 Elation PowerSpot 700s. Another set element was a 20′ bridge that was an interactive element in the message. This bridge lived off stage in the wing for the first half of the service and then rolled out at the start of the message.
