String Curtain

Dan Arndt from Faith Lutheran Church in Troy, MI, brings us this stringy piece.

To start, they purchased the string curtains from Dazian and hung them in the center of the stage. Then they created the wave walls in-house. The wave walls were modular–built in 1ft by 4 ft sections that could be configured any way you want.

They were going to use Coroplast to construct the wave walls. Instead they used aluminum gutter material with white flat finish. Reason? They had a congregation member that hooked them up! Plus they wanted the wave walls to be extremely durable for multiple uses.

Their inspiration was taken from Taste the Rainbow and the set of Americas Funniest Home Videos (love that).
