Brandon Owen from NewSpring Church in Powdersville, SC brings us this back wall with some great wood texture.
To create this, they used different sized furring strips. They used a propane torch to burn the surface of the wood and bring out the wood grain look.
They have an existing Schedule 40 pipe grid rigged horizontally. They took Sched. 40 and rigged it vertically with double cheeseburos. Then they took conduit straps to secure a 1×4 vertically to the Sched. 40 and just screwed their wood furring strips into that. They threw in some uplighting for a great look.
This is a really nice design, great work. Just wondering what is your ceiling height?
Floor to ceiling 23Ft
Stage to ceiling 16Ft
What was your total cost for the project?
roughly $650. The wood is the cheap furring strips from Home Depot.
