Graham Collins from Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN brings us this space invaders/crossword puzzle-inspired design.
They used a pop chalk line to mark the wall. Then they used velcro to attach 2×2 Coroplast squares with rounded corners to the wall.
Materials:
2×2 Coroplast Squares with Rounded Corners
Velcro
Pop Chalk Line
Cost was $120.
This is an amazing and very creative design. I was looking up stage designs for small stages, this is the best i’ve seen. Great idea. Just wondered if the final black back ground is paint or cloth?
Gallery,
This is like SUPER late, but the background is painted black. Its just our black back wall.
It is paint!
Very Nice Design! I was wondering what kind of material did used for the white boxes?
Coroplast squares!
Graham,
Where did y’all find the coroplast? Was it something you bought locally? Did you get 4 x 8 sheets or did you get buy them in 2×2 squares?
Thanks
Scott,
We bought them at a sign shop locally. They cut them in 2×2 squares for us and rounded the corners. This was the first time we had done something like this. We did it on two stages. On this stage the 2×2 worked perfect. On our other stage the squares were to big so we had to take them and get them cut smaller. So it really depends on the size of your wall. Anymore questions let me know!

Hi Graham,
We’re looking to use some coroplast in our next stage design – what thickness did you use? Would you have been able to cut it yourself?
Thanks!
