Alex Armstrong and Lacy Gatlin from Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta, GA brings us these checkered tower panels.
They built 10′ x 4′ frames out of 2’x4’s, painted the wood black, and placed a 10′ 2×4 in the middle of the frames. Then they stapled 2’x2′ squares of Coroplast onto the frames in a zig zag pattern. They drilled I-bolts into the tops of the frames to hang them with regular safety cables.
They hung the outer panels on each side back and high with the 2 middle panels out and low. Under the center screen, they cut 1’x1′ squares of Coroplast and also put them in a zig zag pattern. They stapled those straight to the wall. They also cut squares of Coroplast to fit under the drum riser and the keyboard riser.
To light everything, Alex used 10 Chuavet Colorado Tri Tour LED Pars, 5 Chauvet Colorado Tri Tour Batton 72, and 14 Mac 250’s.
i love them.
