Rated G for Graphic EQ

Gary Brownell from Sagebrush Community Church in Albuquerque, NM brings us this cool graphic equalizer on their stage.

Gary wanted to imitate the look of the LED panels people were using, but the LED panels are so expensive. So they bought 3′ x 5′ panels at Hobby Lobby for $9.99 each. He put a border of black gaffers tape around them, then ran horizontal strips across the panels. He then hung two panels in each column. He lit them with LED strip lights.

The larger screens at the outside edges of the stage were the same panels from Hobby Lobby. He taped three of them together on the backside and put a border around the outside edge. He used some brass grommets from Home Depot to easily connect the chain. Then they front projected the image onto the panels using their projector.
