Kelly Craig from The Church on 53 in Fremont, OH brings us this stage design with tons of different elements.

They started by painting a free-standing wall in the center of the stage white. They used color-changing LED bars to light the wall.

They covered the side walls with corrugated sheet metal, which they hung at staggered depths and directions.

In between the projections screens they hung varied sizes of paper lanterns from the ceiling. They also added some floor lamps on the foreground of the stage (paper lanterns as well).

This set gave them a bunch of versatility. For new series’, they simply changed out the center wall to match their series title.

  1. Fantastic design! Usually I’d think there was too much going on, but it works really well in this scenario. The interchangeable wall is my favourite part – brilliant.

  2. The corrugated sheet metal going in all the different directions and the way the light bounces off these elements is fantastic. The softness of the paper lanters/soft glow from within them and the contrast of the rigid sheet metal is superb styling. Hands down!

  3. I’m curious about your Love sign, there seems to be a texture on it. What is that exactly? I dig it.

  4. Trace, the Love sign is attatched to the center wall we built and the wall is covered in a textured paintable wallpaper.
