Chad Kirchoff from Woodridge Baptist Church in Kingwood, TX brings us this great use of LED tape.
From Chad: This was our first time using LED Tape so we had to start from scratch. Our walls are 16’ tall with five strips of LED Tape each (10 total). 8 of the 10 strips have a 2 foot gap in between the lines to add another dimension to the design. We had to solder jumpers between each gap using EvZ 4 Color RGB Extension Cable Line for LED Strip.
The Fluorescent cross was inspired from an Elevation Church Video (https://vimeo.com/124352394) After hanging the cross it was way too bright for comfort so we ordered some 3 light stop ND Filter tubes from Lee Filters for $45.00. The fluorescent lights are T12. The cross frame is pipe welded by our Facilities Director, Bryan Chittendon.

Love the ideas! Do you have a link to the “3 light stop ND Filter tubes from Lee Filters”? I looked through the website and not sure if I’m finding the right thing. Great work!
Here is a link to their list of colors. I had to order through a local stage lighting company.

It is a good aydeya
We recently installed a design using LED tap and the same decoders you’re using. Trouble is we get an intermittent flicker (Full white, Full off, than back to normal). It only happens in our LED tape and not in any of our other lighting fixtures. I hope you don’t run into the same issue but if you do I’d love to know any solutions!
how are these powered?? I work at a church and i want to use this design. or something similar how are the individual Led strips powered? are you using dmx drivers to power them?
hey, yes the dmx drivers I am using power 16ft of led tape.
What is the link to the drivers?
I used these http://amzn.to/2aKrRNW but there are better out there.
How much of DMX Decoder?
