John Tabor (Zebra Productions) for CCCA Conference 2013 in Colorado Springs, CO brings us these floating question marks.
They used foam core for the question marks and flat foam core for the projection mapping on the big flat screen. The goal was to make the set look like it was a high dollar design, but it was all done on a small budget.
Legacy Sound Productions partnered with Zebra Productions and Media Solutions to do lighting and custom video mapping.
They used LED in the lighting the rig to bring out the rich color.
Media Solutions built a custom video map of the 3×40 panel and made a custom map for all the question marks.
They used PVP 2 and two other video mapping softwares for the look.
What are the question marks made of and how were they cut out?
