Rob Merow from Calvary Fellowship in Downingtown, PA brings us this stone sunset stage design. (Originally posted May 2014)
They built a play off of their branding logo for Easter 2014. They had sign company print a vinyl backdrop of their image that they stretched across the back of the stage. This backdrop was lit with fresnels from the top and MEGAbar LEDs from below.
The stone panels were sections cut from sheets of RoseBrand Vacuform Castle Stone. The material comes white, and they left it unpainted so that the CB12’s could downwash it with various colors.
The center cluster of stone also performed as a projection screen for graphic content.
Budget was roughly $1500.
