Flapped

Brent Allan from Northland Church in Longwood, FL brings us this cool filler stage element below their huge screen. (originally posted October 2016)

This was born out of a need to have a multifunctional set piece for both a ballet and the weekend worship services. The idea of a ground row set was ideal because it broke up the constant black plane of the floor and back frame. Steven Hall of modscenes.com helped them figure out what would suit them best. They ended up using about 90 panels to cover the width of the back frame (45 panels across x 2 high) supported by 30 of the stands. They lit the set using several sets of ColorBlasts.
