Special Event Design

Film Strip Stage

Kory Guy from Trinity Harvest in Hurst, Texas brings us these two designs using Coroplast.

This design was inspired from a previous design they had up. They made 4 x 9 ft. frames out of 2 x 4’s and painted them black. The middle frame measured 5 x 7 ft.

The first design they made out of these frames was called Bar Stacks on CSDI. They have since taken these same bases and redone the front with different shapes.

Their next design was for a series entitled God On Film. So they made 4 x 8 ft. film strips for each base out of black Coroplast. They drew the design on one, cut it out using box cutters and exact-o knives, and then used that one as a stencil for all the others.

Once God on Film was over, they wanted a different feel so they went with these square designs that resemble large windows. They used 1 x 1 x 4 in. wood strips to go across the front of white Coroplast, framed them out, and then the long strip going down the middle was just gaffers tape.
