Mike Gerrells from Harvest Church in Billings, MT brings us this compass in the center of their stage.
They constructed the frame using 2×6 studs with the faceplate made with 1×12’s.
Mike used 3 kinds of stain to multi color the center wall. Then he cut a 7′ hole in the middle to place the compass banner. They used baseball cage netting to look like fishing nets. The center wall was 8′ tall x 11′ 6″ wide.
Thats really neat! Where did you pick up the baseball cage netting?
the nets came form a Google search but it is basically baseball cage netting that comes in 20′ x 60′ sections. it was much cheaper than fishing nets
Where did you get the huge compass?
I second that. .. where did you get the compass done
