Stage Designs

Dippin’ Dots

Hdavid Garcia from Stone Creek Church in Urbana, IL brings us this inexpensive and clean stage design.

At Stone Creek they stopped doing monthly stage designs tied to series’ and started doing quarterly designs. They got this idea from Sturdy.

They started with 2×2 boards from Home Depot, and attached paper plates to them with a hot glue gun. They kept each plat 6 inches apart from the other. Then they hung each row of plates from their ceiling with wire.

The total cost for the project was about $95.

That’s pretty cool for paper plates!

Hi Guys, Calvern from south africa. We have been hiring school halls for our fellowship for the past 10 years and now have eventually been blessed with our own premises( Thnj you Lord) The builsing has a concrete raised stage platform of about 10me wide x 4.me deep. the ceiling height is 2.3me high. I really like what you have done with the paper plate look!! However, I guess without the right lighting, it would’nt have the same effect? Can you please advise as far as the lighting layout is concerend if we used the same concept remembering the low ceiling situation?
    Thanks once again
    God bless Calvern

    • Hello Calvern,

We only used 7 PAR 64 LED lighting for this. We have all our LED lighting on the floor pointing up. Our celling is low as well. But with the right lighting you can do far more what I did here in this stage design.
