Jordan Moshier from Highland Park Baptist Church in Southfield, MI brings us these cool diamond-shaped background pieces.
They created the main center pieces from 12″ x 12″ pieces of Coroplast attached to each other vertically using zip ties square sticky tabs. Then they connected them horizontally with a cheap pear-shaped shower curtain hanger. The material costs about $75–Coroplast sheets costing about $10/sheet.
They lit the set using 4 Chauvet Colorstrips and assorted LED Pars to fill the rest of the stage. They also added some Elation intelligent lights for movement.
We are using 4 Chauvet colorstrips to light them and an assortment of led pars to fill the rest of the stage with additional elation intelligence. They used an M1 by Jands Vista for control.
Looks awesome! love the look
I love the chandeliers as much as the rest of the set design! Where did you find those?
Jeremy,
If have a big truck we would be willing to give them to you. :)
Reminds me of an argyle sweater. Nice!
I’ve got several slightly smaller chandeliers already down and ready to go. Name your price, and come pick them up.
Where did you get your coloplast sheets? I’m having a hard time finding them locally
Check Coroplast.com for a local distributor.
