Circling the Slots

This stage design from Rusty Burchard at Ridge Church in Charlotte, North Carolina reminds me of toys I had as a kid.

This set, consisting of interlocking circles might be a great do-it-yourself version of Mio Nomad Set. Rusty cut 2′ circles out of ridged “gator foam” then notched the side so they could interlock together. He cut half circles to act as bases for the structure.

You could use MDF painted white, but it would be considerably heavier.

Rusty used 6 LED pars to add color and shadow. Three on each side.

Do you think you could use large pizza cardboards painted white as a less expensive version?

Now this may be considered a aspect, nonetheless I consider there’s anything further happening.
