Fair Haven Creative Arts Ministry from Fair Haven Christian Church in Franklin, IN brings us this nativity scene looking like a stable.
They used their walls from the previous “Flat Barn” design to create a “stable”. They purchased the 4′ star pre-lit for $50 at Tractor Supply. They used 6 rolls of 18″x30′ gold and ivory mesh purchased for $4 at JoAnn’s for the rays of the star. They brought out the nativity scene and surrounded it with light and gold/ivory mesh. They took the boxes from the poinsettias, cut them, and covered them with brown plastic table cloths to make a small wall in front of each barn wall to hide the lighting. A $10 large pale filled with sand held the bare trees on each side. For lighting, there was a bar shining up on the nativity and a thinpar right behind Jesus, facing the back wall. Two thinpars on each barn wall, 2 on the star rays, and 4 on the back walls.
