Accent Lines

Louis Velazquez from Victory Outreach East Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ brings us this cool use of lines on their stage.

Materials they used were:

44 – 2x4x8
15 – sheets of Corrugated Plastic
2 – 4×8 sheetrock
10 – 252 led light bars
9 – Slim 38par lights
Sanyo PDG-DWL2500
1 quart – HD Projector Paint

They built wood frames and painted them black then stapled the corrugated plastic to the wood frames. Each strip was 5 inches in width and spaced an inch apart. Then they took a full sheet of corrugated plastic and scored it 12inches and created the light pillars and framed them with 2×4’s and the top part of the pillar. They used plywood and painted it black to cover the top of the light pillar. They placed two 38par can lights in each pillar and cut small doors on the side of the corrugated plastic to run wires and to be able to access the lights. To build the video wall, they used 2×4’s and sheetrock. It was 8ft x 5ft and used 2×4’s to mount it to the back main wall. Then they primered it with white primer paint. They used a quart of HD projector paint. Their total budget including lights was $1250 and they had extra material left over.
