Easter Designs

A Splash

Mike Campbell from Esoteric Visions brings us this great backing for the cross (see all the attached pics).

He was inspired by Camron Ware’s Texturesized…but went a bit crazier with the paint. They simply used black trash bags. They used gloss, latex paint and gloves to make their splashy, grungy designs. They hung them on the pipe from a pipe and drape set using grommets and tie line.

They added the real wood cross in front of it and put shirts surrounding the cross (gave the shirts away).

They used 10 WDM 252LED Wash units (two per panel) to light the set.

  1. Beautiul scenery. The Cross has impact. I build garden and memorial crosses for yards. I love crosses and the wonderful story of the cross. God Bless

I like this very much! I am confused, did you use black trash bags to create the paint effect, or do the bags have the paint on them?

    Nicely done!
