Vandalized Christmas

Mike Gerrells from Harvest Church in Billings, BT brings us these screen doors and graffiti wall.

They were in a series called True Religion that dealt with what to do with the poor, widows, and tribes. The center wall was meant to depict an alleyway with a homeless person living there. The center wall was 4 sheets of brick paneling from Lowe’s that they painted the series graphic onto.

The side fill walls were made with MDF and screen door replacement rolls. The first 3 weeks, they had the homeless look going and then week 4 they changed it to add in the Christmas look and feel. The budget was $500.00 and it came out to $ 225.00 for the brick, paint, and screen doors.

That price reflects the materials only, not the cost with lighting.

Lighting was:
6 – Elation Tri pars (1 per door)
2- Elation Tri pars in the drum cage
7 – Elation Tri 60 strips
3 – Martin Mac 250 spots
4 – Martin Mac 250 wash
2 – VL – 1k
1 – DF 50 diffusion hazer
4 – pre lit Christmas trees
