Topography

Kim Miller from Ginghamsburg Church in Tipp City, Ohio brings us this topographic wall art.

To create this set they used gauze fabric and ropes. They stapled it to the back wall, knotted the ends, and created large swoops out of the fabric. Spaces were filled in with doodles of rope design. Then they added some quiet, inexpensive fans from Lowe’s to made the fabric flow. When they lit it up with LED lighting, the stage had a life of its own.

Check out their blog post for more info and pics.

  1. Wow. Very cool. Are the ropes on top of, or under the fabric? How did you ger them to stay?
