Stage Designs

The Octopus

Tyler Dunlop from Bon Air Nazarene in Kokomo, Indiana brings us this unique, fabric stage design.

They used white and black plain cotton cloth purchased from JoAnn’s for the stage design. They sewed pockets into the top of the cotton to fit 1/2″ pvc piping that was mounted to the ceiling. The black fabric was draped over a circular frame made from flexible PVC. In the middle, Tyler bunched the cotton together and tied a fishing line around it. He then tied it off to an anchor point on the wall behind.

The total cost was around $170 for the black and white fabric, PVC and mounting hardware.
