Easter Designs

The Greatest Story Ever Blocked

Lauren Shorter from Mt. Airy Baptist Church in Easley, South Carolina brings us this cool Easter setup used for their “Collide” and youth services.

They wanted a design that could be left up afte Easter, so they had an artist in their church draw some pictures on reworked pieces from a previous design. Then they created two columns in the corners. They constructed the frames from wood and stretched large pieces of stretch-fabric around them. They placed a light inside each column with a mirror on the opposite side of the column–to reflect the light.

These pictures are beautiful! And I love the clean lines and simplicity of the design overall. I was wondering if your artist would consider redoing the artwork and selling it on creationswap.com so that others could benefit from it? I’d really like to try this out with our church plant as it seems to be easily set up and transportable. Thanks for sharing!

I would also love to do this with our church for Easter if we could get the artwork from whomever drew these.
