Matt Carroll from Gadsden Christian Fellowship in Gadsden, AL brings us this great use of wood for a Thanksgiving project.
They built three 6×10 panels out of cedar fence boards. To tie the sections together they took fence boards and made an abstract, criss-crossing design. They lit the panels with LEDs. For the projection screens they built smaller panels and lit them from behind.
For the trees, they cut a few down and put them in buckets with sand for support – placing them in front of the panels. To finish the design they used a low lying fogger to give the illusion of an early morning fog.
Total cost for the project was less than $100 – with donations and re-used materials.
