Stage Lighting

Stacked Roofing

Jonathan Hunt from The Fellowship Round Rock in Round Rock, Texas brings these columns of light-weight plastic roofing.

They accomplished the look by hanging 12-foot corrugated plastic roofing panels from their ceiling. Each panel was 12-feet long except the shorted panels that were 6-feet long. They held them all together with black zip ties. Then used zip ties and chains to connect them to the ceiling. Then the back panels were screwed straight into the wall.

They picked up the panels at a Home Depot for about $400 total, hung them, and pointed LED Thin Par 64s at them.

Which brand of led par cans did you use? How are they able to remain quite powerful without the stage lights washing them out? Thanks!

  2. Brian says:

Venue Thinpar 64 LED’s were used for the most part…couple of different RGB LED cans (cheapies) as well. Stage looks pretty shallow in the pics, but it’s actually around 30′ deep so the stage lights don’t interfere with where the LED’s were placed.

did you light from both the top and bottom?

Looks great and could you tell us how many Par lights did you use?
