Stage Designs

Six Diamonds

Bob Mouritsen from South Mountain Community Church in Lehi, Utah brings us this modern and electric stage design.

He started with sheets of Coroplast from Home Depot, cut them into 4ft by 4ft squares, then used angled flashing to build a border/frame. He stuck LED tape inside the frame and sealed it with a piece of Coroplast on the other side. The Coroplast on both sides captures all the light. He then did the same thing with 2ft by 2ft squares. They were hung with 50lb test spider wire. They were front lit by LED lights. The LED tape ran to a DMX 512 decoder converter. They run Chuavet software to control the lights in their services. The whole project cost around $150.
