David Gilkey from Lifepoint Church in White Plains, KY brings us these scattered Coroplast towers.
They purchased six sheets of 4’x8′ Coroplast from a local sign shop. The sheets cost $20 each, so they spent about $120. They scored the sheets every foot and then folded them to create the tower. They simply held them together with packing tape. They built two 4-foot towers, two 6-foot towers, and two 8-foot towers. They also used the excess Coroplast to make lids on the top. Then they up lit the towers with can lights that they already owned. They also lit the stage with colored gels for their stage lights. Those were ordered online and were relatively cheap.
The two short towers were lit with white light, and the two 8-foot towers were lit with blue. The towers in the back simply caught the stage lighting.

What specific type of coroplast was used? Thickness? Opacity? Thanks!
Hey Tracy. Specific kind I dont know, thickness was quarter of an inch, and it was white coroplast, not natural. Hope that helps!
I have the same questions as Tracy but also off the subject what kind of screen are you using for your worship verses? We have the same shape of ceiling and find it a challenge to get a good shape/sized screen. Thank you in advance!
Hi Angie,
We dont use a screen, we project directly onto our wall above the stage. The wall is a beige color so it projects onto well. As for the shape, we use pro presenter and it allows us to alter the angles on the top, as well as the width.
Are your can lights LED?
Where do you purchase the coroplast single 4 x 8 sheets? Where do you purchase the lights you placed inside? We are only using these for 1 day so I wonder if the expense is worth it.
Check out this site for coroplast distributors: http://www.coroplast.com/distributor/
I think we got ours for $10 a sheet at the distributor near us, cheaper than insulating foam and comes in many colors
Praise the Lord family, we purchased some LED lights on Amazon for $20 each for the 30 watt and 30 bucks each for the 50 watts, they work great.
