Stage Designs

Throwback: Rolling

Jeff Poole from UBC in Miami, Florida brings us this stage design from the Willow Creek Leadership Summit.

How’d they get those super cool ripples? Simple. They just cut SonoTubes in half and mounted them on stage flats. Amazing! Then add in a few sheets of cut Coroplast in between the SonoTubes and you have a stage design fit for a leadership conference.

Original design by the Willow Creek gang!

Cool effect!!! What did you guys use to mount the sonotubes?

    • Jeff Poole says:

We cut 1″ deep grooves spaced 12″ apart into the flats. The SonoTube “halves” simply stuck into the grooves…those that didn’t got an 1 3/4″ brad nail in it. :)

This is awesome! Please explain what you mean by “flats”.

I loved this look so much for The Leadership Summit, we are going to make a couple of these for our series starting this Sunday.

    Well done, great execution!
