Throwback: Rickety

Matt Hemmele from Northwoods Community Church in Peoria, Illinois brings us this stage of picture frames and rickety walls. (Originally posted May 2012)

They were inspired by Third World Shelter for this one. Matt built two 10’x14′ picture frames to hold 14 pictures they switched out every week. Then Matt added a bit of fascia on the picture frames with broken pieces of wood molding.

Then, using 1”x2”x8′ wood pieces he constructed a 36’x8′ wood backdrop to go behind they speaker, along with two more 8’x8′ pieces to flank the sides of the stage. He also added the wood pieces to the front of their risers to tie the whole set together.

Lighting: pixel mapped 18 ETC source four pars. He used them as blinders as well as effects.
