Jennifer Tribble from Victory Church of Lethbridge in Lethbridge Ab, Canada brings us this beautiful amalgamation of projection, light bulbs, and window panes.
For their recent series, The Church: Exposed, they recreated an old abandoned church. They found an old piano from the 1800’s. Then they hung old house windows on the walls. They found an old church pew. And then they dropped in light bulbs and left the exposed wiring. They combined it with their large projection wall to finish off the whole look.
It looked both beautiful and archaic.
Nice projections! Can you post a video of the worship in context of the projection?
Can you send me your email, or drop box?
Where did you happen to find the old window panes and light bulbs?
The old windows I found on Kijiji (they were from a farm house), and the lights are regular dimable bulbs hanging from extension chords that we attached sockets to the end.
Nice work! What are you using for your back-light/down-light fixtures on your trusses? Are they LED?
Cool design. I love how you’re framing the projection with live props. Are you using rear or forward projection on your wall? What is the depth of your stage?
