Patterned Light

Alan Huerta from West McKinley Church in Fresno, CA brings us this patterned LED backdrop.

They wanted an LED backdrop but didn’t want to pay the $12k it would cost to cover their back wall.

So they built their own, using:

They used an exacto knife to cut mini holes in the backdrop and fished through every other light. Then they daisy chained the lights.

The whole project cost them around $250.

Great design! A couple questions: how many sets of lights did you buy? how much fabric did you use?

  2. Alan says:

6 sets of lights 3 on each side and bought 4 of the fabric sheets and cut it to size on each side…
