Stage Designs

Pallet City

Chad Kirchoff from Woodridge Baptist Church in Kingwood, TX brings us this beautiful take on a classic.

From Chad: This set up was used for a Disciple Now and was designed by our High School Pastor, Alec Lloyd. The back wall was about 12′ tall and 25′ wide. We connected and braced the pallets with 1x4x10 and 1x4x12. We were able to get all of the same sized pallets from a church member’s construction company.

After the walls were installed we ran Christmas lights through the pallets, which seemed to take forever. We also made Edison lamps at different heights using PVC across the stage. For these lamps we bought the 21 Edison bulbs on 1000bulbs.com and picked up the PVC and sockets at Lowes.

Total we spent about $300 on this design. Getting the pallets for free saved a ton of money.

Great idea. Where did you find the best deal on the patio string lights?
