Nathan Hall from Greentree Christian Church in Rolla, MO brings us this useful solutions to those overhead projectors you hate to throw away.
They recently showed a film made by Christ in Youth and Voice of the Martyrs called “Love Costs Everything.” They plugged it for a month and this set was designed to grab people’s attention for it. They used old overhead projectors to display the title of the movie and its logo.
As a centerpiece, they used galvanized tin roofing to make a cross. The metal was hung at different depths so folks could only tell it was a cross when they were centered on it. They borrowed the projectors from a local school, so the only cost was the tin roofing and chain to hang it – about $40.
Genius! Its retro and hip in a pushing-on-hipster sort of way. and I bet they would respond pretty well on dimmers….not like you would be all that worried about burning out the internal fans.
University surplus, here I come!
Looks great. Really great
How did you make the cross exactly?
Can you tell us more aboսt thiѕ? I’d like to find out mߋrе details.
