Kaleb Wilcox from Willow Creek Community Church in Northfield, IL brings us this stage design that looks much deeper than it is.
No set pieces, just lights. 7 conventional pars and 10 Colorado 1s were mounted on battens facing straight out. Using one set, both sets, or none of those fixtures, offered varying looks. Mac250s, Robe 136LTs, Elation DesignWash 250s and Elation PowerSpot 700s make up the rest of the rig. Hazer is an Ultratec Radiance. This style of set relies heavily on consistent and even haze levels to work, since there are no other materials to take light on the stage.
I love that you can’t tell how deep the stage is…it makes a smaller stage look much bigger.

your concepts are professignal and am in love with them. Am a lighting technician who will like to work with you guys to learn more if given the opportunity. Thanks to all the team members. God bless you.
Do you have any pictures with house lights up to show positioning of lights on the stage. What system are you using to control the lights, Jands, Martin, GrandMA, Hog?
How much is preprogrammed and how much is run live on the fly?
Thanks,
Eric
