Jim Mask from Branches in Scappoose, Oregon brings stage design that would fit in perfectly with a starry, summer night.
They wanted to create an indoor plaza/park environment. They pulled it off with a modular 30′ x 20′ wood framed gazebo made from round fence posts and construction 2×4’s and 2×6’s. Then they found a sweet fountain on craigslist, a few park benches from Harbor Freight, bought a large pickup load of wholesale trees and bushes, and lit the whole thing up.
To get the Gazebo perfectly symmetrical, Jim built a 8-sided hub that he suspended from the ceiling at dead center, using a laser plumb. Then all the rafters simply lined up they way they were supposed to.
Wow that looks awsome! I wonder how late they stayed up putting that together. Who is the handsome guy on the ladder?
