Stage Designs

Flatland

Tyler Herron from Garrett Memorial Baptist Church in Hope, Arkansas brings us this simple but elegant stage design.

They created panels on either side of the screen using standard theater-style flats painted white. Then they hung them with cable fromt their truss system.

They used white PolySilk for the screen (144″ side and 15′ long). It was hung by the width to let the long ends fall down.

Tyler lit the set with 2 Par64 LED’s and Par56 cans as back and side light.

Note from the editor: Try out ProPresenter’s new mask feature to soften the edges of the projector. That way you can avoid the square edges and make the image look like it blends in with the fabric.
