Tyrone Arnold from Millennium Revival Center in Wake Forest, NC brings us these panels that look like flat screen TV’s projecting color into the room.
To make this happen they created three panels with a shower curtain wrapped tightly around them – back lit with six LED strips. This project cost about $90.
Tyrone bought ten 8” 2×4 pieces of wood and built the frames. He went to Walmart and bought three frost shower curtains and wrapped them around the frames. He already had the LED strips so he just put them behind the panels and shining on the band.
What kind of LED strips were used in the panels?
the strips i was using are American DJ big strips i have about 10 i used 2 per panel and I also have LED pars in the air
Can you post a link to the lights and the shower curtains, so we can see what the specs were?
hey sorry im so late i am just ending a tour do you still need to the specs? please call me 919-673-8334
Could I have a step-by-step construction plan? I’m 16 and trying to build these with just one other person, and I am really confused on how the frames were built and the shower curtains wrapped. Thanks so much!
Did you have any problems with tearing or seams? I would think that that plastic would tear easy.
We’re trying to pull this off. How did you attach the curtains to the panels; staple gun or nails? Also, what are their dimensions? looks great!
i pulled it tight and used a staple gun
Yeah, I was really surprised to see that this was done with shower curtains. Usually you see these panels made out of either coroplast or spandex.
i was surprise how it went down but its all about imaginary things if you can think it it can happen
i have no problems tearing anything! i still have them now and we use them for various things
Commercial kitchen sliding patio doors are also
used in some areas usually because of its flexibility.
Aluminum sliding patio doors are painted or powder coated, giving an attractive finish, and aluminum
is immune to extremes of weather. Here is the visual that can help you have a lot of sunlight inside the
room.
