Fanned Out

Jeremy Framstad from Grace Community Church in Fremont, Ohio brings us this recreation of the fan-style design.

Jeremy loved the fan wall that Christy Martinez from New Vintage Church had put together. NorthPoint did something similar for Christmas a few years back and it was on their list as something they had to do. They wanted to do something similar, but they had so much space to cover. They have an area of about 80′ wide by 24′ tall to fill. They started with a truss structure that was anchored to the floor and back wall. After that was up, they attached 2 x 4’s to the truss in order to give them something to attach the Coroplast sheets to. They had used Coroplast in the past and were able to reuse all their old stock. The big fan was about 20′ tall x 40′ wide. They used an old overhead projector to get their arch right.

They used Black, Clear, and White Coroplast cut to different sizes and lengths. It took 3 guys, 4 days to get this up and ready for their Easter services.
