Drops of Heaven

Vickie Wuellner from Lenexa Christian Center in Lenexa, Kansas brings us these dropped clouds for their stage.

This stage design was a for a sermon series that lasted 4 weeks. This design was created from white Coroplast for the clouds. The clouds were cut out of 4 x 8 sheets, so it only took 3 sheets. The lettering for “heaven” was bought at Hobby Lobby for $2.39 per letter and painted black. The rope to hang the clouds was a 1/4 rope bought at Walmart. To make the variations on hanging the clouds, they hung each cloud either 3″, 6″ or 9″ out from the wall. To do this, each cloud was tied to a 1 x 2 painted black and cut to those lengths and fastened to the back wall. The heaven cloud was 9″ out and all ropes positioned so they go behind it. The lighting was LED Slim Par 64’s. The cost for this set was $75.
