Dirty Mannequins

Ben Stapley from South Ridge Community Church in Clinton, NJ brings us this stage design for a Soul Detox series.

They wanted a design to compliment their message series “Soul Detox” based on the book by Craig Groeschel. They used promo videos leading into the series illustrating a toxic soul on a mannequin. They wanted this imagery on stage during the series so we bought two mannequins, painting the soul of one black.

They made it look like they had just been unboxed with energy efficient bulbs because they didn’t want the tulle fabric spilling out of the boxes to melt.

Hi Ben! Love the tulle boxes, we might be trying to recreate it on a large scale for a teaching based on Judah Smith’s How’s Your Soul.
What were the lights sitting on top of in the boxes, how many lights did you use per box, and is there anything else I should know about setting something like this up?
