City Block Set

Todd Goodwin from Resurrection Life Church in Picayune, MS brings us this 1800s village feel set design.

They tried to replicate a late 1800s early 1900s small village feel.

They used nine sheets of 4 x 8 1/8″ Luan, three sheets of 4 x 8 brick paneling, and three sheets of 4 x 8 foam board. They also used various paint around the church and any other extra supplies that they could find. The snow was nothing more than pillow batting from their local Walmart. They lights were made out of schedule 40 PVC pipe and toilet flanges. The lamps were from a local discount store—relatively cheap at about $10-$15 a piece. The bases made out of wood they had lying around the church. Budget was relatively cheap at about $350, mostly because they repurposed what was lying around the church from other projects.
