Jordan Greene and Cameron Holley from Passion City Church in Atlanta, GA brings us this awesome ceiling installation.
They used fluorescent bulbs hung vertically and horizontally to create this awesome art installation. They used the same white wire from their storage box installation.
That may be the coolest thing I’ve seen yet! Congratulations on your creativity – are ability to swipe and use as your own! Either way, I love it!
That should say, or your ability to swipe… lol
Thanks much!
This looks great. Glad to see it here on this site.
How did you connect the wire to the tubes themselves?
What are the “sleeves” at the ends of the florescent tubes?
How did you mask the wire going along the tubes? It looks super clean.
Hey James,
The wires are running into the wires form the tombstones via quick connects. the tombstones, wires, and end of the bulb are all taped together with electric tape to secure it.
The wires running up form the bottom are simply run along the side of the bulb – with the lights on and the ‘no print’ white wire it becomes very difficult to see.
We are working on a video that explains the process – we will be sure to post about it here when it is up!

Fantastic – really interesting and clean! How did you physically attach the fluorescent bulbs – is there a special connector from which you can hang them?
Hey Mark,
The tubes are connected to tombstones on either side that run to their individual ballasts – we are working on a video that explains the process! I will make sure to post about it here when we get it up!

Thanks for putting together the video and again, well done!

Do you know when you will be able to get the video up? I would love to try and replicate what you have done in our Kids space. One of the best things I’ve seen on this site!
