Robert Whyte from Deep Creek Community Church in Punta Gorda, FL brings us this shattery design.
They designed this for their series, “Scars”. They wanted a look that resembled shattered glass.
They made the “glass” out of white Coroplast and a shattered mirror around the set to add extra glimmer. They purchased the plastic at a local print shop for about $20 a sheet and purchased door mirrors from Walmart for $10 a piece.
They wanted the set to be temporary and not create too much damage to the walls, so they used industrial strength velcro.
They spent around $100 on the set between materials and trial and error.

I write and speak about the creative process – especially for churches. Call me a resource for the church creative wanting to make their ministry better.
