Kaleb Wilcox at Topeka Bible Church in Topeka, Kansas brings us this deliciously simply, yet awesome stage design.

They needed a design that could easily fill a lot of vertical and horizontal wall space but didn’t take up too much real estate on the stage. Using the vertical wood slats that are already part of the wood panel walls of their stage, they bent strips of Coroplast and wedged them horizontally between the slats. After affixing each piece with a small nail on each side, they were very secure. The curve of the Coroplast gave some depth and dimension to the back wall and no frames or supports were needed! It took approximately 15 4′x8 sheets of Coroplast and cost $215.

The set was lit with 8 ADJ Mega Tri Bars, 4 ADJ Mega Bars, 8 Elation Opti Tri Pars, and 2 Elation Platinum 5Rs.

    Kaleb, Matt and I have loved your set designs~this one especially! You are so creative! The way the lights played off these panels was truly cool. Can’t believe how little you spent on this. Way to go! Keep it up and God bless!

    I love this stage design! In the description it says that you used 15 sheets of Coroplast. However, it looks like you used many more! Can you explain that a little more for me please?

    @danyoung

    The coroplast comes in 4 foot by 8 foot sheets. Each of those is cut into a 4 foot by 1.5 foot panel.
